Comments Theseus: Battling the Minotaur [A Greek Myth]

  1. Very good introduction to this important Greek legend both children and adults will enjoy this book.

  2. While the main story is the battle with the Minotaur a common enough tale in the world of Greek Mythology , I love that this book gives back story to Theseus, how he came to find his father and his adventures before traveling to Crete. It also doesn t go into the darker parts of the myth such as what Theseus did to Ariadne, his father s suicide, or Medea s conclusion This is fit for a middle school audience.

  3. Theseus is the son of a king the king has to send 7 boys to Crete for tribute Theseus tells his dad to send him so he can try to defeat the task he s given in Crete if he wins, Crete will no longer demand tribute.

  4. This was so good, I was surprised that The Minotaur was the son of Minos and Pasipha Well done Theseus for saving your country, Athens You knew you could be king like your father Aegeus did.

  5. English is not my first language that when I read a book that is written by english, it is very important to find the book that is right level for me, and I could understand This book was one of the graphic novel book that it was easy to understand Also, Thesus had very hard travel, and he made it throw it, and he become a king However, he s dad, the king was died It was great moment and saddest moment combined in one situation that I liked it

  6. Part of a collection of Mythology Graphic Novels I picked up for my classroom Good for helping to build background knowledge but not necessarily great Kids will devour these.
