Comments Little Red Hood

  1. So my thought after finishing this was This is the most messed up take on Little Red Riding Hood that I ve ever read And I mean that in a good way I still haven t quite decided who I think the target audience for this one is though.

  2. I ultimately don t know how to feel about this book It massively cuts out the middle man in isolating the characters from the original plot of little red riding hood I loved the flip book form of the book and the scribbly stylised illustrations There s quite a change in character for Red, and a sort of graphic ending.

  3. I found this mildly amusing and slightly dark, but I would definitely recommend reading it ALL before sharing it with a child ymmv

  4. I am impressed with the rendering of facial expressions and the first and last words I do have a difficult time accepting the wolf as such an incompetent threat Moral of the story don t accept candy from strangers Oh well it was amusing.

  5. beautiful new take on a classic wonderful interplay between the stunning illustrations and text something that will tickle both children and adults easily a new favourite

  6. This is kind of I want my hat back twisted where you can enjoy it but are somewhat horrified Awesome illustrations, terrible font that children won t be able to read though i wouldn t hand this to little littles anyway , and a sassy, aggressive conclusion Be careful who you recommend this to.

  7. I found this to be quite cute and hilarious Loved the pencil drawings Loved the twist at end a lot And was very happy to see that the first word in the entire book was Oi Ha to the family members who tried to tell me it was not a word In word games, don t mess with the English major This would be good for a preschool storytime because I think they would enjoy the pictures, it would be fun to act out, and they should be able to get the humor.9 11 13 So fun The kids followed the story and the twis [...]

  8. Little Red Hood by Marjolaine Leray is a short story that complements its narrative with text and simple, but strong, illustrations It brings a new comprehension of childhood into the known formula of this fairy tale This story also gives a new role to the common victim in the traditional tale. There are many versions of this classic story Many of them are provided with the richness of alternative comprehension of events Leray s Little Red Hood stands out among them.

  9. A kind of clever twist on the traditional Little Red Riding Hood But I am not sure I loved it Not sure I fully understood the endingdid the wolf choke to death Was it a hot candy I did like the illustrations and I liked how the color of the text matched the character speaking I am just not sure I would give this to young children.

  10. Rese a en mi blog mapau13 2013 1Una caperucita Roja realmente te sorprender , una incre ble, ir nica y divertida vuelta de tuerca para un cl sico entre los cl sicos de los cuentos infantiles que no dejar a nadie indiferente.

  11. Not sure I loved or totally got the ending Honestly it jarred me a bit But then again a wolf trying to eat you is typically a jarring story Beautiful illustrations Just not sure if I would give it to a kid

  13. The English Translation A wonderful reworking of the classic tale minimal text and simple but fairly disturbing illustrations.

  14. Cute book about Little Red Riding Hood The amazing line drawings and the fact that Little Red fights back set it apart from other stories.

  15. A very short retelling of Red Riding Hood with a little twist The art is simplistic but brings a nice feel to words.

  16. Este libro lo le hace 3 a os y me lo encontr Fue gracioso volverlo a leer aunque tenga pocas p ginas.
